　　A: You are walking too fast. Wait for me. 你走得太快了，等等我。

　　B: Come on. The top is near us. 加油，山頂離我們不遠(yuǎn)了。

　　A: The mountain is so high and steep. How long do we need to get to the top the

　　mountain? 這座山又高又陡，我們還要多長時間才能到達(dá)山頂啊?

　　B: Perhaps 20 minutes. 大概20分鐘吧。

　　A: What? 20 minutes?Oh, no! I can't walk any more.

　　什么?20分鐘?噢，不!我在也走不動了。

　　B: OK. Let's rest for a while. 好吧，咱們休息一下吧。

　　A: John is visiting us tonight. 約翰今晚來咱家做客。

　　B: En, good. Which would you like for dinner, beef, chicken or fish?

　　嗯，好啊。晚餐想吃牛肉、雞肉還是魚?

　　A: I feel like some fish and chips for supper. 晚飯我想吃些魚和土豆條。

　　B: Shall we dress some salad? 我們再調(diào)些沙拉，怎么樣?

　　A: Yes. It's fine. Let's get some lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers for salad and some of

　　these spices — garlic, parsley, ginger and green onions for seasoning.

　　嗯，不錯。我們買些萵筍、蕃茄、黃瓜作沙拉用。再買些調(diào)味品——大蒜、

　　荷蘭芹、姜、蔥作佐料。

　　B: We have all of these. 這些我們都有。

　　A: John will come at 6 o'clock. 約翰6點到咱們家。

　　B: Let's roll up sleeves and begin to prepare for supper.

　　我們卷起袖子開始準(zhǔn)備晚餐吧。

　　A: Did you wash your hands? 你洗手了嗎?

　　B: Not yet. I'll do it right now. 還沒呢，我這就去。
