I got the job offer
Yesterday I got the job offer in writing from the Local City Authority. It is an offer in advance of my graduation. I have one more year study to go. Maybe they are interested in my experience in engineering and the strength in design and planning. I have felt very lucky and happy with it.
It happened before the New Year in Dec 2007. Many thanks to my tutor Jan, he gave me a recommendation to the city council. On 22 Dec 2006 I attended the interview with three people from the council. On 10 Jan 2007 I received the confirmation email of the job offer. It is one and half month for me to get the offer in writing. What a long wait!
I would rather consider it as the biggest and best gift to me for the coming Spring Festival from them on purpose than owe it to the delay due to Christmas holiday break.
Maybe it answers the Chinese saying: “the road to happiness full of hardships in a reasonable long time”.
I hope every friend of mine in Jiaoyou8 has a nice and hopeful New Spring Festival of 2007!!!!!!
