An Integrative Analysis On Listening Test
Abstract
Testing is an important part of every teaching and learning experience. It can be divided into language sub-skills testing and communication skills testing. The former is composed of vocabulary tests, grammar tests and pronunciation tests. The latter includes listening tests, speaking tests, reading tests and writing tests. This paper is mainly concerned with listening tests, which are the most important of all communication skills tests.
This thesis begins with a brief introduction to the social background and the overall purpose for writing this paper. Then it provides an overview of the history and current status of language testing and outlines to the possible factors that affect the listening test. And then it looks into the way to improve the students’ listening ability and make the test more valid and reliable. Referred to the case study，it is the most significant part of the paper, which is concerned with how to find the poor items of a listening test through item analysis so as to improve the quality of the test and in the mean time to enhance the testing reliability and validity. Last it arrives at the conclusion on listening tests.

摘 要
語(yǔ)言測(cè)試是語(yǔ)言教學(xué)和語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)的重要組成部分.語(yǔ)言測(cè)試可分為語(yǔ)言微技能測(cè)試和交際能力測(cè)試。語(yǔ)言微技能測(cè)試包括詞匯測(cè)試，語(yǔ)法測(cè)試和語(yǔ)言測(cè)試。交際能力測(cè)試包括聽(tīng)力測(cè)試，口語(yǔ)測(cè)試，閱讀測(cè)試和寫(xiě)作測(cè)試。本文主要探討最重要的交際能力測(cè)試，聽(tīng)力測(cè)試。
本文首先簡(jiǎn)要介紹了英語(yǔ)聽(tīng)力測(cè)試的現(xiàn)狀，并且指出了影響聽(tīng)力測(cè)試的諸多因素。緊接著討論了怎樣提高學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)聽(tīng)力能力以及怎樣來(lái)使測(cè)試更具信度和效度。實(shí)例分析為本文的核心部分。通過(guò)對(duì)實(shí)例進(jìn)行研究，作者試圖采用題項(xiàng)分析的方法對(duì)聽(tīng)力測(cè)試的結(jié)果進(jìn)行詮釋?zhuān)员阏页鲑|(zhì)量差的題項(xiàng)進(jìn)行改進(jìn)，從而提高試題的質(zhì)量，保證測(cè)試的信度和效度。最后，作者對(duì)聽(tīng)力測(cè)試進(jìn)行了概括總結(jié)。
